Stop Motion
By taking digital photos with small amounts of movement in between, one can create that "jerky" look of old west movies. Basic movie editing programs like Windows Movie Maker can be used to lace them together, add sound and turn it into a movie.
Tips
- Plan out each scene
- Calculate how many shots it will take to make a single second of video and plan your shot accordingly
- Try to tak the shots in order and get rid of undesired ones as you go.
- Just like in flip-booking or speed animation, adjust the frame and transition setting before you import your pictures into a movie edition program
- In Windows MovieMaker -- go to the 'tools' tab, select options and set the 'picture duration' and 'transition duration' to the lowest setting
